Darin E. Hughes is a research associate in the Media Convergence Laboratory at the University of Central Florida’s Institute for Simulation and Training where he has worked on mixed reality applications and research since 2002. His research interests include mixed reality, auditory perception and cognition, and human-computer interaction. Hughes has a BA in English from the University of Florida, a BS in Information Technology, and an MS in Modeling and Simulation from the University of Central Florida.
